James Rolfe, mest känd som The Angry Video Game Nerd, har under årens lopp luftat tankar om att göra en spelfilm av hans, av gamers älskade karaktär, AVGN. Nu har han alltså äntligen skridit till verket och vänt sig till IndieGoGo för att få hjälp med sponsporpengar till sitt projekt. I skrivande stund har han dragit in $27,088 av $75,000. Kapitalet tickar in snabbt till vår älskade spelnörd, för igår hade han bara dragit ihop ca $13,000.

"The film is an epic comedy/adventure tale with certain B-movie styles interjected within. James Rolfe joins forces with longtime friend and fellow University of the Arts alum Kevin Finn. Over the past few years they wrote the script, and while the "AVGN" video series continued, this big project has been brewing behind the scenes. Now it's time to pull the trigger. Production is set for Spring 2012.
